Reservation Information & General Conditions
For complete information, please refer to Terms and Conditions of Passage Ticket, available from Monarch Classic Cruises Head Office.

Reservations
A deposit of 25% of the cruise fare must be received by Monarch Classic Cruises no later than 14 days after reserving the cabin. No reservation is considered firm until such deposit is received. Full balance is required no later than 60 days prior to departure in order to maintain the reservation.

Shore Excursion Conditions
All optional Shore Excursions, land tours and activities must be organized and performed by Monarch Classic Cruises. It is against the Policy of Monarch Classic Cruises that individual(s) and / or group(s) organize their own land tours, excursions etc.

Cruise Cancellation or Alteration of Itinerary
Monarch Classic Cruises reserves the right to cancel any cruise(s) without notice, in which case cruise fare will be refunded. The Company also reserves the right to alter the itinerary of any cruise or to substitute one ship for another of similar standing, if for any reason this becomes necessary or desirable, in which case no refund is due to the passenger unless justified by the types of new accommodation offered.

Health Requirements
Guests with medical condition(s), who need special treatment and/or medicines, should consult their physician before traveling, and ensure they have an adequate supply of medicine and a copy of their prescriptions. Physical disabilities that require special care or treatment should be reported to MCC at the time of booking. MCC retains the right to refuse embarkation to any person with such physical or mental disabilities that may constitute a danger to themselves or to other passengers.

Pregnancy
Ladies 6 months pregnant or more are not permitted to cruise for their own health & safety reasons. Up to the fifth month of pregnancy, ladies may cruise but are required to present prior to embarkation a statement from their physician stating that they are able to travel. MCC requires infants to be at least 3 months old to travel. Baby cots are available onboard. MCC does not provide baby formula or baby food. There is no baby sitting service on board.

Guest Cancellations & Refunds
The company must be notified of an individual guest cancellation more than 60 days prior to departure in order for the deposit to be refunded.
If MCC is notified of an individual guest cancellation within 45 days of departure the following cancellation fees apply:
60 – 31 days 25% cancellation fees applied
30-15 days 50% cancellation fees applied
14 – 7 days 75% cancellation fees applied
Less than 7 days 100% cancellation fees applied Special conditions will be applied for group cancellations.
In all cases of refund, the amount will reflect any expenses incurred by the Company, including all penalties. Requests for refunds must be received in writing no later than 60 days after cruise departure date. Refunds may only be obtained from the ticket-issuing office or travel agent.

Liability and Insurance
The conveyance of passengers, baggage and personal property is subject to the terms and conditions of the Passage Contract. As operators of the M/V Ocean Countes and M/V Blue Monarch, Monarch Classic Cruises’ responsibility with respect to lost, damaged or misdelivered baggage and personal effects is strictly limited. By accepting the Passage Contract our passenger agrees to the terms and conditions therein. We recommend that guests consider purchasing cancellation / interruption and baggage insurance. Please consult your travel agent.
